2) Wendy Davis!
Wendy Davis (Deeds Not Words Founder and Former Texas State Senator) will be our kick-off keynote. A lawyer and former candidate for governor in Texas, Davis is has been well-known on the national stage for many years.
3) New Industry Insiders
Duane Forrester, Vice President of Industry Insights at Yext will be joining us this year for the first time. If you want deep valuable insights on the state of SEO and local/online search, look no further than Duane and what he’ll bring to Lawyernomics. He also spent time advising the staff who maintain the White House’s websites.
4) Session, Sessions, Sessions

Don’t miss the final time to hear from Avvo Founder and CEO Mark Britton and Chief Legal Officer Josh King. This 9th year of Lawyernomics is Mark’s swan song and we’ll welcome you to join us as we look back at more than 11 years of Avvo’s success. We’ll celebrate Mark’s accomplishments as he transitions Avvo to new leader, Jason Moss.
6) Networking
Lawyernomics pulls a large crowd of successful and ambitious attorneys across practice areas and from across the country. We’ve built time into the agenda for practice area roundtables at lunch which will be a great opportunity to exchange ideas.
7) CLE credits and other education
We’ve already secured five CLE credits in California and three in IL. For those of you in all other states, there’s plenty of other educational sessions to attend – two full days – in fact. Check out the agenda here. We’ll let you know as other states are approved.
8) What happens at Lawyernomics …
Two words: “Vegas, baby!” Of course, you’ll make sure to attend every Lawyernomics session, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t time to enjoy everything Las Vegas has to offer after hours. This year’s Lawyernomics conference is being held at the beautiful Venetian hotel. The conference is also hosting an after party event TAO nightclub.
